SADDLE RIDGE - A LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN IN THE SMOKIES!

Picture
Welcome to Saddle Ridge in the foothills of East Tennessee, located just off East Miller’s Cove Road in Walland, approximately 12 miles southeast of Maryville, and 23 miles southeast of Knoxville.

Saddle Ridge is a gated subdivision of over 1200 acres divided into about 225 lots, each 5+ acres. We have 75+ residences with the majority occupied year round. Residents live surrounded by forested natural beauty: on ridge tops with spectacular views of Chilhowee mountain and the Smokies, in shady “hollers” bursting with color from seasonal wildflowers and along burbling creeks.

The Saddle Ridge Property Owners Association (SRPOA) provides community services funded by annual association fees paid by all residents and lot owners.  Much of it goes to the  maintenance of about 16 miles of the  community's gravel roads. The SRPOA also contracts for a centralized trash pickup service and maintenance of common grounds. Common areas include a small lake with wildlife viewing opportunities and a picnic area where we have our annual Fall gathering.

We strive to maintain the peaceful nature and natural beauty of Saddle Ridge.  If you are considering a purchase here please take a look at the  Covenants and Restrictions and Before You Build information.   The restrictions include, among other things, no rental properties, RV's, or motorcycles in the community, which helps to preserve the serene nature of our community, protect the wildlife and maintain our hilly, windy, gravel roads.

Please enjoy the other pages and links on our website for more information about the Saddle Ridge community and the surrounding area of East Tennessee. We know you will love it as much as we do!
